Having been in the audiovisual and theater production industry for many years, my role as a production manager and coordinator frequently led me to work on international projects. Languages and translation have been essential elements of my professional journey from the beginning.  Therefore, I directed my attention towards translation in the cultural sector.

At the Nova University of Lisbon, I have completed a degree in Languages, Literatures and Cultures (French/ Spanish) with a Minor in Translation. I also have the university diploma in Portuguese as a second language (DUPLE level C2) from the University of Lisbon.

I am a native Spanish speaker and fluent in both Portuguese and French. Originally from Uruguay, I have also lived in Costa Rica, Portugal, Argentina and France.
